“I knew I wanted to do something more than I was doing, but I was nervous. I knew UCCS was a pretty great school. They fostered an environment of openness, which allowed me to dive deeper into my field of study. I learned at UCCS what it means to be a public servant.”
A difficult upbringing didn’t stop Levino Johnson from conquering his dreams. After 12 years of service in the armed forces, Johnson pursued higher education, first achieving his Bachelor’s degree, then his Master’s degree.
