Assistant Professor in Cybersecurity

The Department of Computer Science (CS) at the University of Colorado Colorado Springs (UCCS) invites applications for a tenure-track, assistant professor position in cybersecurity. The candidate is expected to develop a strong, externally funded research program and to teach and support the department’s educational programs at the undergraduate, MS, and PhD levels.

UCCS has been rated a "Best in the West" by US News and Reports and earned recognition as one of the “Great Colleges to Work For” in 2018 by The Chronicle of Higher Education. The College of Engineering and Applied Science at UCCS is nationally ranked and offers degrees at the Bachelors, Masters and Ph.D. level. The CS department has 17 full-time faculty including two NSF career winners. The department also offers strong degree programs with cybersecurity concentrations at all levels (Bachelor’s, Master’s, and PhD).


-- Ph.D. in Computer Science or a related area. Ph.D. must be conferred by date of appointment (8/19/2019)

-- Strong record of accomplishment in research (publications) and strong funding potential
