Cost of Attendance

You are financially and academically responsible for all courses in which you are registered. UCCS will not remove you from your current term courses if you fail to pay your fees. If you have registered and will not be attending, you must withdraw your registration.

Program Cost

Tuition rates vary depending on degree or certificate program. The total program cost for a degree or certificate will be higher for students that have not previously satisfied prerequisite requirements.

Other course materials, including textbooks, may be required for purchase and typically costs $150-$300 per course. Students are responsible for providing their own computer and internet access.

Tuition rates are subject to change, updates take effect each Fall semester. Other course fees may apply.

Beginning in Fall 2016, Extended Studies will no longer offer course sections (“500” sections) that are offered as online sections (“OL”) on the main campus. Students registering for the OL main campus sections will be charged a tuition rate commensurate with their Tuition Residency which is determined by the Registrar in accordance with state law and regent policy. Students who are classified as non-residents who enroll in a fully online degree or certificate program will be eligible for the non-resident online program tuition structure set at 130% of the Colorado resident rate (or 125% of the Colorado resident rate for students in nursing or health science programs).

Fall 2017 - Summer 2018

*Colorado Residents can apply to receive the Colorado Opportunity Fund stipend (COF) to help pay tuition costs: COF stipend = $75 per eligible credit hour.
