Cheyenne Mountain Zoo

America’s Mountain Zoo, at an elevation of 6, 800 feet above sea level, is home to breathtaking mountain scenery and more than 750 animals, representing nearly 150 different species.
Highlights: Rocky Mountain Wild, African Rift Valley and Asian Highlands Exhibits, Animal Contact Area, Mountaineer Sky Ride, Grizzly Grill and Gift Shop.

Disability/Access: The Zoo's elevation rises from 6,800 feet at the front admission gate to nearly 7,000 feet above sea level at the Zoo’s highest points. Wheelchair, stroller and wagon rental is available. Individuals visiting the Zoo with the assistance of a service dog may only tour certain areas of the Zoo with their dogs.
