Compass Curriculum requirements for the campus may be different than those of a college for general education. The Compass Curriculum Committee will meet with faculty submitting courses and determine if the course is appropriate for our campus wide general education program.
Note that once your course is submitted a description of the course will be sent to your department chair followed by your associate dean and college curriculum committee. This allows for faculty and college control over which courses come from the department and college to the Compass Curriculum. After the college agrees that the course can be reviewed by the Compass Curriculum Committee then the faculty will be notified that their course will be reviewed. All courses will be submitted online through this website.
