Kim B. Walker, Ph.D.



Dr. Walker worked in the Office of Black Music Research at Southern Illinois University before managing a radio station in the Midwest. Walker moved West to run television studios for the University of Colorado.

Walker served as a telecommunications consultant to the Illinois Office of Education, The McLuhan Program in Culture and Technology (University of Toronto), and The American Association of Retired Persons. He was a founding member of both the Colorado Springs Film Advisory Commission, and the Southern Colorado Educational Television Consortium (SCETC).

Professor Walker has produced instructional series on subjects ranging from children's' literacy to senior citizens in the workplace. His feature documentary “The Todd Newmiller PROJECT” was an official selection of the DocUTAH International Film Festival.

Dr. Walker owns six original feature-length screenplays registered with the Writers Guild of America, and dozens of short film titles. Walker’s book “BlackBag Man” is currently available on Amazon, and his article, “Tex McCord aka Roger Caryl” appears in a recent edition of CRIME MAGAZINE.
