College of Education Admissions Criteria: 

GPA Requirements: 2.50 Undergraduate and 2.75 Graduate Programs  **TELP Early Admission must have a GPA of 3.0

Initial advising session with department faculty member

Previous work and volunteer experience is preferred

 

College of Education Admissions Checklist

  • Take the GRE for Master's degree programs in Counseling and Human Services for the Ph.D. program in Leadership, Research and Policy
  • Obtain three letters of reference
  • *Submit one transcript from all institutions of higher education previously attended
  • Prepare a career goal statement (see department specific requirements)
  • Current résumé
  • Complete a background check
  • Interview with department faculty member
  • Complete the electronic online application: www.uccs.edu/admissionsenrollment/apply-uccs-today
  • *Students who attended UCCS as undergraduates DO NOT need to request an official transcript.
