Biographical Information

Tacy Killingsworth is an instructor in the Department of Leadership, Research, and Foundations at the University of Colorado Colorado Springs. Her education and professional background are in PK-8 education and leadership. She received her Principal Licensure through the Admin Leadership and Policy Studies Program at the University of Colorado Denver, her M.A. in Early Childhood Special Education from the University of Arizona, her B.A. in Psychology from Colorado State University-Pueblo and her Elementary Education Certificate from the University of Phoenix. Tacy has served in the field of education in a variety of capacities for over twenty years. She has been an early childhood special educator and director, an elementary classroom teacher, an assistant principal, a principal, a director of instruction and an educational consultant. Tacy teaches courses in the Educational Leadership MA and Principal Licensure Program.
