Site Supervisor Training

CHS Interns 2014.

The UCCS Department of Counseling and Human Services has developed an online training platform to provide supervision to our site supervisors who take practicum and internship students. Please complete the trainings listed below; access by clicking the Module title.

Upon completion of the module trainings, please complete this
Qualtrics Survey.
We will send out the NBCC certifications bi-annually, November 1 and February 1.

Additionally, we provide advanced training for current school and mental health counselors who are in need of professional development for their respective licenses.

There are 4 training modules; this entire training is worth 3 CEU's.

Module 1-Supervision

This is an overview of our program and issues unique to supervision.

Module 2-Supervision Models

This training module includes major categories of supervision and discussed models grounded in psychotherapy theory, developmental models, and supervision process models.

Module 3- The Supervisory Relationship & Evaluation

This module includes topics around assessment and evaluation in the supervision process. development.

Module 4-Ethics in Supervision

This module gives an overview of ethical obligations in the supervisory relationship. This  final module will have a certificate that you can print or email to the Student Resource Office in order to receive your NBCC CEU hours for the training.
