Village at Alpine Valley—1:00 P.M.
Join parents, families, friends, and classmates of the Class of 2021 as students, faculty, and staff help residential students move into their new digs for the start of their first year at UCCS! Check your move-in times and locations (sent separately).

Lunch for your students and families will be provided.

Resident Assistant Floor Meetings - Residence
1:00-3:00pm; See your RA for locations!
This will be your first opportunity to meet all of the students you will be living with in your residence hall community. Coordinated by your Resident Assistant (RA) , you and your community will have a chance to get to know each other and learn what to expect during Clyde’s Kickoff, the academic year, and living on-campus. This is REQUIRED for all-on campus students.

Commuter Social
2:30-4:00pm; Student Life and Leadership Lounge
The Office of Student Activities would like to invite you to the 2nd annual Clyde’s Kickoff Commuter social. All first year commuter students are welcome to attend! Free snacks, resources around parking, transportation, information on Clyde’s Kickoff, and university assistance will be available! Following the social, commuter students will join the annual Convocation Ceremony and PlayFair Rally!

Convocation and Mountain Lion Rally
4-4:45pm; Gallogly and Berger
Convocation is your official welcome to UCCS. UCCS Chancellor Venkat Reddy will be welcoming all new students to campus and sharing how UCCS can make your dreams come true! You will then pose with nearly 2,000 of your new friends for the famous “UCCS” Class photo. Lastly, student leaders from across campus will lead you in a parade down the spine where faculty and staff will officially welcome you to UCCS!

PlayFair
5:15pm-6:30pm; Lott 224, will be moved inside in case of inclement weather
PlayFair is unlike anything you have experienced. It’s entertainment! It’s fun! It’s the perfect way for you to meet the rest of your classmates in the nation’s largest icebreaker.

GPS 1010 Start Up Days
8:00am-5:00pm; All Classrooms and University Center Meeting Rooms
GPS 1010 Start-Up Days is the kickoff to your freshmen seminar. Faculty and staff are excited to spend this time with you. All freshmen must participate in their GPS 1010 class during Thursday and Friday of Clyde’s Kickoff. These two days equate to four class periods and a student who fails to attend is at risk for failing the class.
Check your student portal and/or schedule for exact locations.

Rocky Mountain Roar Night
6:00pm-9:00pm; Mountain Lion Stadium; Meet at 5:45pm at the Alpine Field Terrace.
March down to Mountain Lion Stadium with your classmates beginning at 5:45, or meet us there for a pre-game tailgate at 6PM. Game begins at 7. Load up on UCCS athletics spirit gear, learn the school chants and sports, all while cheering on your classmates in fun competitions with your student athletes. Before the game, there will be a free tailgate with games, food, giveaways, t-shirts, face painting, and so much more!

What better way to start your first weekend at college than an evening of free giveaways, t-shirts, and prizes throughout the UC! Come and learn about the different offices and resources the University Center has to offer, as well as sign the official UCCS Class of 2021 banner!

Crave-Rave Bingo
9:30pm-11:30pm; Berger Hall
Do you like bingo, free food, and TONS of prizes? Then head on over to Crave Rave Bingo following Premiere Night for the most intense game of bingo in the Rocky Mountain Athletic Conference (RMAC)!

Come and experience all this state-of-the-art facility has to offer, including open gym, open swim, and a variety of other activities.

Movie Madness ft. Beauty and the Beast
8:00pm-10:30pm; Summit Village Turf
Sit under the stars and enjoy a great new release, Beauty and the Beast! Bring your blankets and chairs, while enjoying free popcorn, snacks, and drinks!

UCCS Has Talent
10:30pm-12:00am; Upper Lodge
Do you have an awesome talent or act that you want to show off to your new classmates? Join us for the Class of 2021 talent show, where there will be plenty of food, laughs, and fun!
Auditions will be held from 3:00-5:00PM in Breckenridge 5102 and 5104.

Class of 2021 Community Service Project
12:00pm-4:00pm; Location Breckenridge 5101
Join us for the official Class of 2021 Service Project to end your first weekend at UCCS. Interested in helping out on projects for homeless people and animals? Join National Resident Hall Honorary (NRHH) for making tie blankets for the homeless, as well as dog and cat toys for the Pikes Peak Humane society. Meet the members of club and help out with a local cause for a few minutes or a few hours! There will be snacks to enjoy to as you craft and templates to follow for each crafting project.
