Ashlyn Richie is a first generation student at the University of Colorado Colorado Springs studying Biology - Biomedical Sciences. She currently is a senior with minors in Pre-Medicine, General Communication, and Leadership. Her passions in science, medicine, and people plan to take her to medical school after receiving her undergraduate degree. Originally from the small town of Seibert, CO, she enjoys being involved on campus and within the Colorado Springs community as a Kane Family Foundation Scholar, a member of the Chancellor's Leadership Class, Co-President of the Pre-Health Society, and a Student Ambassador at the Office of Admissions. Outside of school, Ashlyn works as a nanny for a wonderful family and in the Emergency Departments of UCHealth Memorial Hospitals as a scribe. In the little free time Ashlyn has, she enjoys hiking, hammocking, painting, reading, laughing, and spending time with friends & family. She looks forward to returning this school year to UCCS and CLC because of the continued growth, support, and community they have provided her!
