Stephen Suh, Ph.D.
Stephen Cho Suh is an Assistant Professor of Sociology & Women’s and Ethnic Studies at the University of Colorado Colorado Springs. Suh received his Ph.D. in Sociology from the University of Minnesota – Twin Cities in 2016. His scholarly interests lie at the intersection of race/ethnicity, gender, migration, and identity, particularly in the context of Asian Americans. Suh’s dissertation research, which was funded in part by the Fulbright Program and the Korea Foundation, examines the phenomenon of ethnic return migration through the lived experiences of US-raised Korean ‘returnees.’ He has works published and/or forthcoming in outlets such as The Journal of Asian American Studies, The Journal of Men & Masculinities, and The Society Pages.
