Lifetime Entrepreneurship Award Luncheon

A Celebration of Entrepreneurship

11th Annual Entrepreneurship Awards Luncheon

Colorado Springs is home to world-class entrepreneurs, both past and present. In 2009, the UCCS College of Business Alumni Association began honoring one individual each year with the Lifetime Entrepreneurship Award. The annual event, long-known as the LEA luncheon, is a well-established tradition in Colorado Springs. The list of past LEA winners is a showcase of those who have transformed the local economic landscape.

Bringing attention to the legacy of business innovation and looking forward to the future of this thriving city is central to the mission and vision of the UCCS College of Business, and this event is the premier expression of our deep engagement with the wider community.

In 2018, the College of Business and the University celebrated 10 years of recognizing the brave leaders who helped build the Colorado Springs business community into the growing city it is today, one venture at a time. In 2019, considering the enormous energy surrounding the campus and the city, the College of Business looked to expand its annual event.

As we embark upon this event’s second decade, we are proud to launch the presentation of a second award – the Next Generation Entrepreneur award. The NGE award recognizes the contributions of those who inspire others with their vision, leadership and achievement. Through this award, we aim to recognize those entrepreneurs whose innovation and influence are shaping what this great city will become.
