Visual Guidelines Introduction
Visual design guidelines model a consistent look and feel for campus marketing materials.
If the Brand Identity Standards are the letter of the law, the visual design guidelines are the spirit. These are recommendations, not design dictates.
Following these guidelines will align your material with the university's flagship material to help our audiences see us as a cohesive, consistent organization, even while the departments, colleges, offices, and programs that we're comprised of each have their own flavors. We want to be seen as individual parts of a cohesive, credible whole.
Our goal is unity, not uniformity; balancing design freedom and unit autonomy with brand cohesion.
