Research Interests

My recent research has focused on mammalian ecology involving the effects of military training on behavior of female mule deer, microbiomes of the intestinal tract of fox and Abert’s squirrels, and population genetics of Abert’s squirrels. In addition, I am a Research Associate at the Denver Museum of Nature & Science where I collaborate with colleagues on the identification of fleas from small mammals in the collection..
