How to Make an Appointment

  • Current students can schedule appointments with their assigned Advisor online through Starfish.
    • Log in to Starfish
    • Click on My Success Network
    • Find your Academic Advisor and click Schedule Appointment
  • If you are changing your major or a returning student please contact the front desk (719-255-3260) to schedule an appointment to ensure you get connected to the appropriate Advisor.
  • If you are having difficulty scheduling an appointment using Starfish please contact us at 719-255-3260 or stop by Main Hall 208.

How to prepare for your appointment:

  • Starfish will send you an email confirmation the day before to confirm your appointment.
  • If you need a form completed, please bring that with you to the appointment.
  • Prepare a list of questions or issues that you would like to discuss with your advisor.

On Campus Appointments

  • All advising appointments are 30 minutes in length.
  • Please arrive for your appointment at least 5 minutes early to check-in at our front desk in Main Hall 208.
  • If you are more than 15 minutes late for your appointment, we will ask you to reschedule.

Phone Appointments

  • All advising appointments are 30 minutes in length.
  • If you are out of state or an online learner this is a great way to stay in touch with your advisor
  • Advisors will leave a message if you are unavailable at the time of your appointment. Students must return the phone call within the first 10 minutes of their appointment time to honor the appointment.

Drop-in Advising

  • Drop-in advising is available Wednesday 1 pm-4:30 pm.
  • All drop in advising appointments are 10 minutes in length.
  • If you have a detailed question or need a lot of information, please make an appointment.
