Xi Phi Chapter

Scholarships

Application Deadline: November 15, 2009
[3 scholarships are available between $500 and $1000]

Scholarships will be awarded at the Xi Phi Chapter induction on December 6, 2009

Purpose:

The purpose of the scholarship award is to facilitate the student (undergraduate or graduate) to meet personal and professional goals in nursing.

Criteria for Award

1. Student must be enrolled in an accredited baccalaureate or graduate nursing program
2. Validation of potential for success in academic program
3. Preference given to active Sigma Theta Tau members, other attributes being equal
4. Students meeting eligibility requirements prior to induction may apply

Guidelines for Application:

Submit the following items:

1.  A one page statement which includes Personal and/or professional accomplishments
2.  Official transcript of course work completed
3.  Two letters of reference
