Women's and Ethnic Studies (WEST)

Rebecca Laroche is department chair and Associate Professor of English.

  Before her current project, she published several articles on early modern women's writing in literary history in scholarly collections and journals.  Her book, Medical Authority and Englishwomen's Herbal Texts, 1550-1650, is under contract with Ashgate Publishing and, if all goes smoothly, should be in print by 2010.  She regularly teaches courses in Englishwomen’s writings.
