The Web Services Department is a sub department of the IT department and is specializing in furthering the campus needs through the web medium. Examples are the Content Management System, Student Portal etc..
Services:

Design, develop and maintain UCCS and various department websites (Alumni, UR, VCAA, VCAF, Marketing, SSI, Excel centers, Chancellor, gerontology, education, back to the bluffs, prospective student, Internal, FAQ site etc…)

Support and develop new web strategies for campus (CMS, Portal, Interactive map etc…)

Maintain security, usability and functionality

Assist excel centers with web page design, development and maintenance. Assist with instructional and assessment software programs (login programs, assessment tests, OWL etc)

Assist UR office with design, development and maintenance of UR pages, press releases, communiqué

Maintain campus calendar

Assist student recruitment and student success. Collaborate on web design and creative use of technology to help reach recruitment goals. (flash games, prospective student site, PSI, interactive forms, etc…)

Maintain and send out E-mail lists for Alumni, Univ Relations, Community Connections etc...
