Visit UCCS

We are excited to have you visit our beautiful campus! Choose from two options for prospective undergraduate students, based on your time and needs: the Campus Tour or the Mountain Lion Experience. We also have tours for prospective graduate students and school groups; please scroll down for more information. School Group Visits

Please contact Ariadna Coffman at 719-255-3038 to arrange a visit. Tours for school groups cannot be scheduled during regular tour times or on the same day as a Mountain Lion Experience day.

Campus Tours

During your campus visit, you will have the opportunity to meet with an admissions counselor and tour the UCCS campus, where you will see the suite-style housing, state-of-the-art library, gallery of contemporary art, classrooms, and our view of Pikes Peak. Campus visits are complimentary and last approximately two hours, including a half hour overview presention and a walk through the campus. The walking tour will:

  • be about one mile long
  • include some staircases
  • include a water/restroom break
  • last around one and a half hours
  • cover the main campus

Tour times:
Monday through Friday: 9:30 am and 1:30 pm
Select Saturdays: 10:30 am and 11:30 am (no Saturday tours December - January and May - August)

Evening Tours:

  • Offered on select Mondays at 6:00 pm
  • Available dates: September 17, October 15, November 12.

Tour of Beth-El College of Nursing:

  • Fridays at 12:00pm. Please request this when you sign up for the tour and make sure you receive a confirmation email!!
  • NOTE: We do not offer tours of Beth-El during the Fridays for Mountain Lion Experience unless the event pertains to Nursing.

Tours of Alpine Village Apartments:

  • Campus Tours do not go to the Alpine Village Apartments. Click here to request a time and please be sure to submit your request at least 72 hours prior to your requested time. These must be Monday through Friday, 8:00 am to 5:00 pm. There is no staffing on the weekends for tours.

    Mountain Lion Experience

    This is the best way to learn about UCCS! The Mountain Lion Experience includes:

    • a continental breakfast
    • information on admissions, student life, and financial aid
    • a student panel discussion
    • a meeting with faculty in your area of interest
    • the opportunity to eat at The Lodge
    • a campus tour

    The Mountain Lion Experience is offered during select Fridays (8:30am - 2:00pm) throughout the fall and spring semesters.

    Registration is required to participate in Mountain Lion Experience. The program is FREE, but space is limited so be sure to register early. Please submit the online RSVP form; we will send you a final confirmation closer to the event date with more information on parking.
