University Center Employee
of the Month
February 2008
Monica Sedillo
We are pleased to announce that our February University Center Student
Employee of the Month is Monica Sedillo, Information Desk Student Assistant
II.
Monica has been working in the University Center for a year but has been
working in the University longer than that as an Orientation Workshop Leader.
Her nomination included the fact that she is always early to work, and that she
takes on shifts unnecessary to her, but out of kindness towards her coworkers.
She is stated to have a "sixth sense" when it comes to customer service, and
is able to balance an excellent attitude at work with her other activities,
including a second job and being an officer in one of our on-campus
sororities. Monica is "a wonderful listener, always smiling, and always ready
to help."
Her supervisor as well as the Student Employee of the Month committee agree that
she is a great example of what it takes to be the student employee of the
month.
