Classroom visitation: With consultation regarding what should be noted in the classroom and why, the Director will visit your class for the entire period or a segment.

Video / Audio taping: After consulting with you about your needs for a classroom visit, we can also videotape you with an HD camera and a wireless microphone. Please make arrangements for this two weeks in advance of the class period that will be taped. You will receive a digital copy of the resulting recording on a CD for your use only or for posting. We can only schedule this taping for one class; this service is not intended for podcasting.

Teaching Portfolio: we strongly urge new and untenured faculty to begin a digital teaching portfolio as soon as they come to campus. This will act a of collecting and reflecting on your teaching for the purpose of development. It can also be the basis of your promotion and tenure dossier.
