Course Design: Advice on best practices in teaching and innovative teaching strategies tailored to your teaching style and course

Teaching Performance and Strategies:

Assessment Consultations: design effective syllabi, lecture presentations, discussions, assignments, exams, web-pages and learner-centered activities, and course-level assessments to match course objectives. Tap UCCS surveys or create customized one for useful program and classroom data.

Ecollege (eCompanion) assistance and training: Supplement your on-campus course or design a completely online one

Online Teaching -- instructional design expertise and technical support for optimal online experiences for you and your students Instructional technology to meet your needs -- help with presentations, course websites, multimedia materials for instruction, documentation of teaching for promotion/tenure and teaching portfolios

Documentation for Promotion and Tenure evaluation: Learn how to document classroom performance, teaching development efforts and teaching excellence with multiple means such as a classroom visit, analysis of assessment data, audio and video recordings, or a teaching portfolio.

New faculty consultation -- personalized help for new faculty and TAs such as classroom visits for coaching and advice, learning outcomes assessment strategies, etc

Community -- interviews with candidates for hire, collaboration on grant proposals and project materials, campus programming

Equipment and applications assistance for your courses -- cameras, computers, scanning, video and audio capture, recording, editing and CD/DVD burning.
