2008-2009 Partners Training Program

About PARTNERS

PARTNERS is a training program for new student employees. It covers a wide range of topics useful to all student employees regardless of experience level.

The topics covered include:

  • listening skills
  • perseverance
  • time management
  • dependability
  • accuracy
  • courtesy
  • going the extra mile
  • asking questions
  • confidentiality
  • handling difficult situations
  • dealing with sexual harassment
  • serving persons with disabilities
  • valuing diversity

The program is presented via a facilitator, guest speakers, videos, and exercises. Both on and off campus student employees are encouraged to participate in the PARTNERS program. Student employees are paid to attend but must have their supervisor's approval.

PARTNERS is a single four-hour session that is held three times each academic year. If you wish to attend, you may register for a specific seminar using the form below.
