Initial Hiring:
  1. Students will be hired at the minimum salary of the appropriate job category.

  2. Exception: One 25 cents per hour increase will be given for each year of related work experience and/or related course work.
Raises:
  1. After a satisfactory review, students are eligible for a 25 cent per hour increase after working one semester and a minimum of 100 hours.

  2. Thereafter, contingent upon a satisfactory review, students are eligible for a 25 cents per hour increase after one year and a minimum of 250 hours worked.

  1. Students will be hired at the minimum of the appropriate job category.

  2. Exception: One 50 cents per hour increase will be given if the student has at least one year of previous related job experience.
Raises:
  1. After a satisfactory review, students are eligible for a 25 cents per hour increase after working one semester and a minimum of 100 hours.

  2. Thereafter, contingent upon a satisfactory review, students are eligible for a 25 cents per hour increase after one year and a minimum of 400 hours worked.
Promotions:
  1. After 1 year (3 semesters) of working, advancement of necessary skills, and a satisfactory review, the position will be promoted to the next job class. The wage in the new job class with be the larger of the minimum rate for that category or the student's previous wage rate plus a 50 cent per hour increase.
