Heather Albanesi, Ph.D.

Assistant Professor

Dr. Albanesi is an assistant professor at the University of Colorado at Colorado Springs. Dr. Albanesi received her Ph.D. (2001) in Sociology from the University of California at Berkeley.  She received her M.A. from the University of California at Berkeley and completed her undergraduate studies at Wesleyan University in Middletown, Connecticut.  Research interests include heterosexuality, gender, and religion. She currently teaches both graduate and undergraduate courses in social theory, sexuality, gender, religion and culture.
