Nanna L. Meyer, PhD., RD, CSSD

M.S. - Exercise Physiology; Arizona State University

PhD. Exercise Physiology; University of Utah

Registered Dietitian; Division of Nutrition; University of Utah, Salt Lake City, UT and Board Certified Specialist in Sports Dietetics

Native of Switzerland and former member of the Swiss National Alpine Ski Team. Previous work involved sports nutrition services for athletes of all ages, genders, and sports at The Orthopedic Specialty Hospital (TOSH) and the University of Utah Athletic Department. Current consultant to the United States Olympic Committee and sports dietitian of US Speed Skating and USA Cycling. Currently hired at UCCS as assistant professor in Health Sciences.

Jade Garneau-Fournier, B.S.

Education: B.S. - Nutritional Sciences, Pepperdine University

Native of Montreal, Canada, Jade's athletic background is in figure skating. She has recently transferred to UCCS from the University of Utah Sports Dietetics Program to complete her graduate degree under the guidance of Nanna Meyer. Her training at UCCS includes experiences in both research on the female athlete and practical applications of sport nutrition in collegiate as well as elite sports.
