Provided athletic training coverage at various USA Volleyball events, including 2004 and 2005 Girls Junior Olympics National Championships, 2006 and 2007 USAV High Performance Championships.  Worked as Sports Medicine Coordinator for US All-Army Volleyball teams as well as the 2005 All-Armed Forces Volleyball Teams.

Laarni Yogore, A.T., C.- Graduate Assistant Athletic Trainer

Athletic Training Experience: Wheaton College - Assistant Athletic Trainer. Assigned to Baseball, Men's and Women's Basketball, Women's Soccer and assisted with other sports. Was the athletic trainer for the NCAA Div III Women's Soccer Championship Team (Fall '06). OAD Physical Therapy - Athletic Trainer and Physician Extender. Have worked with the Kane County Eagles Football - Semi-pro football team. Orthosport Physical Therapy - Sport Performance Specialist - Worked along with Physical Therapists, CSCS, and ATC's to provide strength training programs and one-on-one strength training programs to local teams and athletes. Undergrad experience: North Central College - Wrestling, Mens and Women's Basketball, Cross Country, Track and Field, Baseball. Intern for the Northwestern University Football team (2004). Chicago Blaze Women's Basketball team.

Favorite Thing About Athletic Training: One of my favorites about athletic training is watching the sports I don't really know too much about and learning about it. Another thing I love about athletic training is being the person the athletes look for when they need help. A personal belief of mine as an athletic trainer is that I should treat not only the physical aspects of the athlete, but also their emotional needs.

Future Plans: As soon as I am get my masters I would like to be a professor teaching Athletic Training along with covering a sport. A few big goals is to be involved in the AVP and/or to be part of an Olympics.

Kimberly Oderwald, A.T., C. - Graduate Assistant Athletic Trainer

Athletic Training Experience: Worked as an Athletic Training student at Fort Lewis College for 4 years. At Fort Lewis I was the head athletic training student for Womens Soccer and was co-head athletic training student for Mens Football and Womens Softball. During my time at Fort Lewis College I performed rotations at the local high school and many physical therapy clinics.

Favorite thing about Athletic Training: Being able to see the full circle of an injury from the initial evaluation to the athletes return to play and providing injury prevention skills and knowledge.

Future Plans: To be a head athletic trainer at the high school or collegiate level.

Rebecca Schwebke, A.T., C. - Graduate Assistant Athletic Trainer

Bachelor of Arts in Athletic Training with a Minor in Coaching from the University of Northern Iowa in Cedar Falls, Iowa

Athletic Training Experience: I have been a student athletic trainer for 4 years at UNI and have worked with Collegiate Volleyball, Football, Wrestling and Softball. I have worked at 2 high schools and a division 3 college and 2 physical therapy clinics. I also have done medical coverage for Special Olympics, Multiple Sclerosis Walks and various camps.

Favorite thing about Athletic Training: My favorite thing about athletic training is the wide variety of knowledge and tools you use to help an athlete return from an injury and being able to overcome the obstacles along the way.

Future Plans: Upon graduation I would like to work as a Head Trainer at the Collegiate Level.

Amie Kern, A.T., C.- Graduate Assistant Athletic Trainer

Bachelors of Science in Athletic Training-George Washington University, Washington, D.C.

Athletic Training Experience: As an athletic training student, I had a variety of experience in my four years including working in a D.C. public high school primarily with football, working with men's and women's lacrosse at the Catholic University of America as well as women's lacrosse experience at George Washington. In the summer of 2008, I had the opportunity to intern with MLS's DC United where I had experience working both with the first team as well as the youth academy teams being involved with athletic training duties as well as strength and conditioning experience.

Favorite thing about Athletic Training: It allows me to stay involved with athletics in a competitive environment. Helping athletes return to play is a fun process to be apart of. Including sharing in each milestone they reach in a rehab process and finally returning to competition is rewarding.

Future Plans: I would like to be an athletic trainer in the collegiate setting in the first years after graduate school, and then eventually become a head athletic trainer in the high school setting

Jennifer Cleland, A.T., C. - Graduate Assistant Athletic Trainer

Athletic Training Experience: While at Sherando High School, worked with varsity wrestling At Concord University worked these Division II varsity sports: football, men's basketball, women's basketball (2 seasons), softball, baseball

Favorite thing about Athletic Training: Staying involved in athletics and being able to help athletes the way I was helped throughout my soccer career.

Future Plans: To be an athletic trainer/soccer coach.
