Audio-Visual Controls - University Hall 109, 133, 140, 165, and 216


Turning the projector on/off and selecting an input to display:

Projector Remote * Remember to point the remote directly at the projector and press one button at a time.
Panasonic Remote
The power button is red and located in the top left corner of the remote.
  • Press the power button once to turn the projector on.
    - Allow 1 minute for the projector to warm up before use.
  • Do not turn the projector on and off frequently as this shortens projector and lamp life!
  • When you are finished using the projector, press the power button twice to turn it off.

The input buttons are located immediately below the power button in the "INPUT SELECT" box.
  • To select a computer input, press the COMPUTER button.
    - Check the laptop switchbox to select either the podium computer or the laptop input.
  • To project the DVD/VHS deck, press the VIDEO button to select the input "Video."

The Freeze and Shutter buttons can help improve your presentations.
  • Press the freeze button to hold the current image on screen, press again to release.
  • Press the shutter button to mute video from the projector, press again to restore.


Adjusting the volume:

Volume Control
Volume is controlled using the knob behind the podium next to the phone.
  1. Adjust the volume to the middle of its range, left.
  2. Start your media, if Power Point adjust level before class.
  3. Adjust volume at knob and/or the source if applicable.
  4. If you have a problem with the audio, please return the volume to the normal level (left) before troubleshooting your media and input devices for the problem.

Before you leave, please remember to turn off the projector and logoff of the computer.
