1. Turn on the projector and lower the screen

This projector control panel is located behind the tinted glass door on the right side of the podium.
Use these controls to turn the respective projectors on and off.
Please note that the projectors need 45 seconds to warm up and 3 minutes to cool down after use. |
Lowering the Screen
The screen lowers using the switch on the wall. Press it once to lower it and once to raise it. It is not necessary to hold the button.
2. Prepare Media and login.



3. Select projector input.

There are no remote controls in this classroom. Everything is controlled using this Extron control panel.
Select the Input
- If “Projector” is not displayed on the bottom line, press and hold the I/O button until it changes.
- I/O button must be yellow, press and release to change colors and cycle through until yellow.
- Press INPUT; use SELECT knob to choose
PC out#1
PC out#2
LAPTOP
DOC Camera
DVD/VCR
- Press OUTPUT and select either Projector-A or Projector-B using the SELECT knob
- Press TAKE
 
Controlling the Volume (See Picture Above)
Verify that the I/O button is yellow.
- PROJECTOR–A needs to be selected as the output. If it is not, toggle the “>” to the bottom line by pressing the OUTPUT button and use the SELECT knob to change it.
- Press INPUT to select the PC or DVD/VHS deck. If you are playing audio from the PC your input must be PC Out#1.
- Use the volume control dial to adjust the volume.

4. Start media.

Use the controls on the DVD/VHS deck itself for basic operation (play, stop, rewind and fast forward). For advanced options such as browsing a DVD menu, use this remote control.

5. Adjust the volume or make other adjustments as necessary using the Extron control panel.
6. When you are done, please turn off the projector.
