1. Turn on the lights

- To turn the lights on, first make sure that the Dimmer Override switch is on (shown above).
- Then press the "ON" button under Zone 1 for Seating Lights and/or "ON" under Zone 2 for Board Lights.
- If you are teaching the first class of the morning or if the lights are off when you come into the classroom, you may need to wait up to five minutes for the lights to reach their full intensity.

2. Turn on the projector and lower the screen.

- As you look at the projector mounted to the ceiling, you will notice a thin, black box mounted next to it; this is the "television manager" (TM). When you are using the Synergy remote control aim the remote at the TM, not the projector.
- To turn the projector on, aim the remote at the TM and press the "on/off" button (circled in red) once.
- To turn the projector off, aim the remote at the TM and press the "on/off" button (circled in red) once.
- When the TM receives the signal from the Synergy remote, a series of red lights will flash on the front of the TM.
- Please note: Before the projector warms up it may be difficult to determine if it is on. As you look at the front of the projector you should be able to see light coming from the lens. Also, if your classroom is quiet enough you may be able to hear the fan running.

Lowering the Screen

The screen lowers automatically when the projector is powered on. However if you want to raise or lower the screen without turning the projector on you can use the wall switch located next to the podium. Press it down to lower it and up to raise it.

3. Prepare Media and login.



4. Select projector input.
Press the corresponding buttons on the remote

5. Start media.
6. Adjust the volume or make other adjustments as necessary.

Note: If the speakers are buzzing turn down the volume before playing any audio. |
7. When you are done, please logoff the computer and turn off the projector.
