Audio-Visual Controls - Science 186 and 188.

1. Turn on the projector and lower the screen.

Extron Controller
These classrooms do not have any remote controls. Instead, this Extron control panel allows you to easily display your media or switch between media inputs with the touch of a button. To turn the projector on, press the "on" button. To project the computer screen press the "PC" button. To project the DVD/VHS deck press the "VCR/DVD" button. To project the document camera press the "Doc Cam" button. To project from a laptop use the VGA and network connections on the top of the podium to connect your laptop. Then press the "laptop" button. To adjust the volume turn the volume dial. If you wish to "mute" the projector image without turning the projector off, press "Pic Mute." You can also use this control panel to control the DVD/VHS deck. When you are done, press the "off" button to turn off the projector.

Lowering the Screen

The screen lowers using the switch on the wall. Press it once to lower it and once to raise it. It is not necessary to hold the button.

2. Prepare Media and login.

3. Select projector input using the Extron control panel as described above.

4. Start media using the DVD/VHS controls on the Extron control panel shown above.

5. Adjust the volume or make other adjustments as necessary using the Extron control panel shown above.

6. When you are done, please logoff the computer and turn off the projector.
