7th Annual Firkin Rendezvous-Saturday, February 19th.

7th Annual Firkin Rendezvous - Saturday, February 19th, 2011. Bristol Brewing in Colorado Springs, CO

On Saturday, February 19th, Colorado craft brewers will celebrate the seventh annual Firkin Rendezvous, a cask ale rendezvous benefitting the Colorado Brewers Guild. Brewers love concocting firkins because one-off casks offer them a chance to experiment and parlay their skills. Craft beer aficionados love firkins because of the smoothness and complexity offered in an unfiltered, cask-conditioned ale. Attendees will receive a commemorative glass, unlimited tastes of over 20 casks, complimentary snacks from local restaurants and a chance to chat up their favorite brewers about their craft. The rendezvous runs from 1:00 pm to 5:00 pm, February 19th at Bristol Brewing Company, 1647 S. Tejon, Colorado Springs. Tickets are $35 in advance, available at Bristol Brewing, or $40 at the door.
