The Hypervariable Interface

Mutations-the Immune System-Conciousness

Open systems are ones where mass and or energy flows into and out of. In the most abstract sense everything can be viewed probabalistically where order (negative entropy or information) ultimately flows to disorder (entropy, the lack of information). In the biggest picture this means that the universe is expanding and cooling as equilibrium is approached. The second law of thermodynamics states that the entropy of the universe is always increasing. Living systems are highly negentropic, they are improbable from a equilibrium point of view. If a person was broken down to all the atoms and molecule that compose them, and were thrown out of a large dice tumbler, what would be the probability of the person reforming? The probability is essentially zero yet we are here because the creative force that flows in an expanding universe has selected for order over the billions of years that life have been evolving. Life gets smarter because the rest the universe sets stupider quicker. A characterizing quality of life, both at a single cell (ie.bacteria, protozoa) and organismic level (ie humans) is the ability to receive information from the environment and respond in such a manner as to maintain life. In man, this process has been refined to the point of abstract thinking and language, however, if we look carefully we see that there is an underlying algorithim that is repeated during the course of evolution, that is the estabishment of hypervariable interfaces. This concept will be used to demonstrate connections with how cells generate mutations (genetic hypervarablility) during times of stress, how these molecular mechanisms were embraced by the immune system to respond to foreign entities (binding hypervariability) in the body, the nature of the human mind as a hypervariable interface including the role of psychedelics, as well as the unique role that a free country must play in the evolutionary process.

These principles constitute a fact-based religion in which evolution is the manifestation of the universal creative force. Its time for a change and for a class action suit. Contact me rmelamed@uccs.edu.and link to this page.
