The purpose of this course is to develop your critical thinking and presentation skills. Each student is required to give a presentation, typically PowerPoint, to the class. The presentation will be chosen by you, but must be approved by me. On day 1, we will have a lottery to determine the order of your presentations. Each presentation shall have a hypothesis for you will present supporting data from at least two peer reviewed journal articles. Critical to the success of your presentation will be a clear explanation of the techniques involved, how they are performed, what they are measuring and what are their limitations.
GRADING: Grades will be based on class presentations, class attendance/participation and grading of presentations made by fellow students based on this rubric. You must submit, by email, your evaluation within 1 week of your classmate's presentation, and you must include the presenter's name in the subject line of the email for your evaluation to be considered.
