ALL STUDENTS MUST PURCHASE and REGISTER a CLICKER

it is your responsibility to make sure your clicker is registered and working

We will use new clickers this semester i-Clickers Do not purchase an old HTT clicker

Point Distribution

Lecture Grade = 100% class participation via clicker technology and direct participation, with optional written cumulative midterm and/or final.

Lab is a totally separate course, and is independently graded from the lecture.

Examinations

This semester we will repeat last semesters in an effort to encourage you to read the chapters before coming to class. There will a clicker questions at the beginning of most classes. Be on time or you will miss questions. Questions will be multiple choice and true/false, often taken from the questions in the book at the end of each chapter. The questions will be electronically answered by the student with his/her "clicker".

There will clicker quizzes as often as possible (depending on how we progress). Each quiz will typically cover no more than 1 chapter.

All examinations will be taken during the class periods as indicated on the syllabus. Examinations will consist of standard multiple choice, true/false. 

Makeup quizzes will not be given, except under verified emergency circumstances.

Final grades will be assigned as follows:
A 94-100%
A- 90-93%
B+ 87-89%
B 83-86%
B- 80-82%
C+ 77-79%
C 73-76%
C- 70-72%
D+ 67-69%
D 63-66%
D- 60-62%
F Below 60%
