un-Intelligent Design

As a far from equilibrium system approaches a critical point, at which the system undergoes a phase change, the fluctuations of intensive thermodynamic variables approaches infinity. Constantly changing molecular arrangements explore space and time for a solution to the driving force's quest to generate entropy.

Importantly, far from equilibrium phase changes result in organized dynamical systems, the entropy of the system decreases. In contrast equilibrium and near equilibrium systems will always maximize their entropy and minimize their free energy.

A system truly at equilibrium becomes timeless, everything has already happened. Yet, information theory, which utilizes equilibrium statistics, is used by supporters of intelligent design to measure the improbability of life.

Thus intelligent design is a thermodynamic absurdity, whereas un-intelligent design is a natural phenomena.
