B-Z Reaction
Electrons flow from reduced to oxidized compounds, as occurs when food is biologically consumed. A color indicator represents the redox potential through out the petri dish in which the B-Z is occurring. Molecules in a liquid are not randomly distributed. This process mimics living systems-generate more disorder in the universe than would be produced if the reaction did not remain in it's organized state (dissipative structures).
