Conference Housing



The most convenient housing for the conference is offered by the dormitories on campus. Single rooms with a private bath are available for $38 per night. Single rooms with a shared bath are available for $25 per night. Double rooms share a bath with one other double. Meals can be purchased at the dormitory cafeteria.

Participants should directly contact the campus conference coordinator's office at (719)262-3471 or (719)262-3664 or (719)440-7702. You also have the option of contacting the campus conference coordinator's office by email at ggallego@brain.uccs.edu. Mention the name of the conference, and specify arrival and departure dates and approximate times. Also leave a phone contact number if you use email, or if you leave a phone message. Dormitory reservations should be made by mid July.

If you making hotel reservations you are advised to first speak with Joanie, the UCCS math department secretary, at (719)262-3311. Joanie may also be contacted by email at joanie@math.uccs.edu. Several of the hotels offer discounts if reservations are made through the university.

There are no hotels within easy walking distance of the university. In the downtown Colorado Springs area, about 6-7 miles from campus, there are several hotels including the LeBaron (1-800-477-8611) (medium priced) and the Adam's Mark (719-473-5600) (medium-high priced). Several hotels are located 2-3 miles from campus.
At the present time we have not made any conference-specific arrangements with the hotels, but we would be happy to help with further information for those interested in hotel accomodations.
