For most parking lots, A VALID PERMIT MUST BE DISPLAYED ON YOUR VEHICLE BY THE FIRST DAY OF CLASSES, June 15, 2009. There is NO "grace period." Tickets WILL be written for violations the first day of the semester. Please read the following for information regarding parking options. Owning a permit, without displaying the permit, will result in a ticket. Summer 2009 semester permits expire August 7, 2009 (unless explicitly stated otherwise).
Only faculty and staff at the University of Colorado at Colorado Springs may purchase a faculty/staff permit. Students, including graduate students teaching classes at the university are not eligible to purchase a faculty/staff permit. Faculty/staff may purchase only ONE parking permit.
Parking regulations apply equitably to students, faculty, staff, administrators and visitors.
Cars violating parking regulations will be subject to ticket and/or immobilization.
Parking is on a first-come, first-served basis. Purchasing a permit
entitles you to park in certain parking lots on campus. YOU ARE NOT
PURCHASING A RESERVED PARKING SPACE. Faculty, staff, students, administrators,
and visitors should direct all inquiries concerning parking and traffic issues
to Parking Services at 719-255-3528.

Faculty and staff who do not purchase a parking permit for Hub parking or Lot N may park at the Four Diamonds Sports Complex. Four Diamonds is located at 5025 North Nevada Avenue. No permit is required. A campus shuttle runs fall, spring, and summer semesters from 7:05 a.m. to 10:35 p.m. Monday through Friday. Shuttle service is continuous, every 20 minutes. If you plan to park at Four Diamonds, please see the schedule.
Permits must be paid for at the time the permit is picked up. The only exception is yearly permits being paid for through payroll deduction. The Parking Office accepts personal checks, cash, MasterCard, and VISA.
Faculty and staff may return their Summer 2009 permit for a full refund through June 22, 2009.
Annual permits may be returned at any time and a pro-rated refund will be given based on the number of months remaining on the permit. Annual permits purchased via payroll deduction must be returned anytime a faculty or staff member resigns or leaves the university. The payroll deduction will be stopped ONLY upon return of the permit. In order to stop payroll deduction, the permit should be returned by the fifteenth (15) day of the month prior to the next deduction or payment for the next month will be deducted. Faculty and staff who have elected payroll deduction are responsible for the entire amount of an annual permit, whether or not they use the permit for a given semester, unless they return the permit PRIOR to the beginning of the semester.
