Applying to the PhD Program in Clinical Psychology with Curricular Emphasis in Geropsychology

All application materials are due on the 1st of JANUARY. Interview day for Ph.D. applicants is scheduled on the Friday, February 6, 2009.  Applicants may be requested to attend this interview day, so please plan accordingly.

All materials can be found online through links on this webpage. Some of the materials are available through the graduate school's page and some directly from the psychology department. Regardless of where you get the forms, all forms are to be printed, filled out, and mailed to the same place:

Available at the Graduate School by following the links for "application information" are:

1) The Graduate School Application Part 1 and Part 2 (submit both parts)

2) Recommendation forms for 4 letters of reference

-- Some candidates are also required to fill out other forms such as In-State Tuition form, Selective Service registrationetc. Please follow the Graduate School directions for supplemental forms.

Available from the Federal Student Aid website:

3) FAFSA forms (Free Application for Federal Student Aid) are required by all potential applicants. Applicants do not need to submit the original application to the department. Instead, have your results sent to UCCS at school code 004509.

4) Additional Graduate Applicant Information Form

Additional materials which must be submitted by the application due date:

5) Original GRE Score Report (more information here)

6) Two official transcript from EACH college or university attended.

7) A statement describing your interests, background and reason for applying to our program.  This should be 2-3 double-spaced pages using 12-point font.

8) $60 application fee made out to "The University of Colorado".
