Provost Welcome | Event Details | About Barbara Swaby | Printable Flier
Held to celebrate the beginning of our new academic year, this casual and fun ceremony will feature greetings from Pam Shockley-Zalabak, UCCS Chancellor; Daniel Garcia, Student Government Association President; and a keynote address by Dr. Barbara Swaby, CU President’s Teaching Scholar, UCCS Professor of Education, and national champion for literacy. Dr. Swaby will speak about insights from Randy Pausch’s The Last Lecture.
Convocation officially opens the academic school year and is our chance to welcome our new students, faculty, and staff to the UCCS family. We hope all will come together to celebrate the beginning of another academic year of continuing opportunities for study, discovery, and friendship.
