The Partnership in Innovative Preparation of Educators and Students

Industry Partnership Opportunities

Everyone agrees that supporting and enriching science and math education is important but sometimes it is difficult to get a grasp of how to tackle the problem.

One of the goals of the PIPES program is to partner industry professionals with students and teachers to systematically increase student interest and exposure to STEM one classroom at a time.

Please consider how you or your company can be involved in one or more of our STEM education programs

Pipeline Partnership

This opportunity partners your company with a math classroom in local districts to facilitate a hands-on project one time per week for 4th - 6t grade students.  These projects will be in conjunction with what the class is studying and will add a real-life application to what they are learning in class.

Saturday Science

This opportunity is in partnership with local middle schools for four Saturdays throughout the school year in which you would facilitate one hands-on science workshop for 7th or 8th grade students on one of the five Saturdays.  These projects could include robot building, bridge building, computer game design or any other engaging, innovative project that you might design.  The program is designed to give students an exciting exposure to science and math in an engaging setting.

FIRST LEGO League Teams

  • commit to coaching a school based team. Be involved in helping students go from concept to design to product and finally compete at the Pikes Peak regional competition at UCCS and beyond
