The Partnership in Innovative Preparaton for Educators and Students

STEM in Real Life is a two day summer opportunity for 7th and 8th grade students to engage in fun, hands-on activities on the UCCS campus. Students can choose from 20 different workshops to create their 2 day schedule based on what interests them. Students can participate in workshops such as:

  • DNA and Biotechnology
  • CSI and Forensics
  • Robotics
  • Electronic circuit design
  • Rocketry
  • Chemistry
  • Sports science
  • Animal science
  • Computer game design
  • Flight
  • Geocaching
  • Solar car building and more!

Students may keep most of the projects they work on.

All workshops are facilitated by skilled professional engineers, scientists, technologists, and mathematicians from industry, education, and the military.
