About Us-High School
The mission of the University of Colorado at Colorado Springs PIPES/Pre-Collegiate Program is to provide academically motivated first generation students with the academic preparation, opportunity, support and exposure necessary to attain a higher education degree and reach their potential through Saturday Science Academy workshops, and Summer Program courses.

All Pre-Collegiate academically motivated students will be prepared for the challenges of higher education degree attainment.

Criteria for High School Selection*
- Attend a target high school
- Be an academically motivated first-generation college student (neither parent has received a 4-year college degree)
- Have a minimum 3.0 grade point average in high school
- Be a member of an underrepresented group in higher education
- Meet one or more of following requirements:
- Be a member of a one-parent family
- Be the eldest child in the family
- Have the desire to continue in education beyond high school
* Note:
PCDP reserves the right (on a case-by-case basis, based on available
openings and funding) to make exceptions to any of these admission
criteria.

High School Summer Program
Summer Academic Program for 11th grade juniors the summer before their senior year on campus at UCCS( Participation in Summer Program requires a minimum of 3.00 GPA and submission of two ACT scores)
