Department of Mathematics

Admission for International Applicants

An applicant for admission as a regular degree student for the Department of Mathematics at the University of Colorado, Colorado Springs must submit the following to the Mathematics office at the address below:
  1. A completed Application form – Part I and Part II
  2. A Financial Statement for International Students form with the required documentation
  3. A check or money order for $75.00 as a non-refundable application fee, made payable to UCCS
  4. Two Official Transcripts from each college/university attended. All transcripts must be sent directly from the previous school
  5. Two letters of recommendation
  6. TOEFL score – 550-600 on paper-based examination or 213-250 on the computer-based exam. If you have completed at least one year full-time academic study at a U.S. institution at the time you apply, or if English is your native language, you are exempt from this requirement
  7. A Selective Service form if you are male and born after 1960
  8. An Application for Graduate Teaching Fellowship Form if you are requesting financial assistance from the department
Completed applications (including all supporting documentation) should be submitted 60 days prior to the term for which admission is sought, although applications are reviewed on a continual basis and will be considered if this deadline is not met.
