We study the propagation of nonlinear waves along certain types of fractal trees, such as those present in the peripheral circulation at various organs in the arterial system. We describe the effect of reflection of the waves at the terminal branches and at the bifurcations. Formulas for the characteristic and effective admittance (flow to pressure ratio) as well as the effective propagation speeds will be presented.
