Reference Desk

The Reference Desk is staffed by reference librarians and can answer your research or library related questions.

The Reference Desk is located near the Main Entrance of the Library. Come by and ask your questions in person!

Give the Reference Desk a call at 255-3295. If no one answers, please leave a message and we'll get back to you.

Note: The Reference Desk services are only available during Reference Desk Hours.

Research Consultations

Need individual help for a research project? Set up an individual research consultation with a librarian! A research consultation includes one-on-one help from a librarian, answering your specific questions and showing you the best sources for your research needs.

Setting up a Research Consultation

  1. Contact your Subject Librarian via email or phone! Not sure who your subject librarian is? Contact the Reference Desk and a reference librarian will point you in the right direction
  2. Inform your librarian of your research needs. Tell us about your project, what types of information you need, when the due date is, etc.
  3. Confirm a date and time for your research consultation. Note: Try to give your librarian at least 2 days to prepare for the consultation.

Library Workshops

Attend a library workshop to enhance your knowledge of library resources and sharpen your research skills. Workshops are open to students, faculty, staff, and the general public. Reservations are not required.
