The Reference Desk is staffed by reference librarians and can answer your research or library related questions.

The Reference Desk is located near the Main Entrance of the Library. Come by and ask your questions in person!
Call Us
Give the Reference Desk a call at 262-3295. If no one answers, please leave a message and we'll get back to you. IMPORTANT: UCCS telephone prefix 262 will change to 255 as of January 1, 2009.

Research Consultations
Need individual help for a research project? Set up an individual research consultation with a librarian! A research consultation includes one-on-one help from a librarian, answering your specific questions and showing you the best sources for your research needs.
Setting up a Research Consultation
- Contact your Subject Librarian via email or phone! Not sure, who your subject librarian is? Contact the Reference Desk and a reference librarian will point you in the right direction
- Inform your librarian of your research needs. Tell us about your project, what types of information you need, when is the due date, etc.
- Confirm a date and time for your research consultation. Note: Try to give your librarian at least 2 days to prepare for the consultation.
Workshops
The Library provides several workshops throughout the year. Workshop topics may vary, but they are open to all UCCS students, staff and faculty.
