Journal Search

Journal Search - Search or browse all the journals available in print or electronic format in the Library. Excellent way to find full-text from a citation.

Core Journals
These are journals that are noted as "best" in the general criminal justice discipline. You can use these to search for articles or go directly to an article database listed below.

Searching Article Databases

Databases search through thousands of newspaper, magazine and journal articles. See all Criminal Justice databases or Political Science database.

Note: Most databases allow you to limit your search to "peer reviewed" or "scholarly" journals only, but still check the article to verify it is not an editorial or letter. Editorials and letters, etc., do not usually go through a peer reviewed process.

Finding Articles Not Available at UCCS

ILLiad
If the Library doesn't have access to the article you want, you can still get it through interlibrary loan. With an ILLiad account, you can place your requests online and be sent an electronic copy of the article you requested.
