Abstracts and indexes the international literature in sociology and related disciplines in the social and behavioral sciences. An excellent resource for any sociology related topic.

Social Sciences Citation Index ISI Web of Knowledge 1900-
Includes current and retrospective bibliographic information, author abstracts, and cited references found the world's leading scholarly social sciences journals covering more than 50 disciplines.

Scopus Elsevier 1966-
Scopus is an abstracts database covering the following fields: chemistry, biology, physics, mathematics, engineering, life and health sciences, social sciences, psychology, economics, and environmental sciences. Provides access to over 26 million abstracts (going back to 1966) and 10 years of reference backfiles.

Gender Studies EBSCO 1972-
Database combining Women's Studies International and Men's Studies databases with sexual diversity issues and gender-engaged scholarship. Source documents include professional journals, conference papers, books, book chapters, government reports, discussion and working papers, theses and dissertations, and freely available full text articles & documents on the Web.

A comprehensive database of U.S. and international criminal justice journals. Great for searching in criminal justice, law enforcement, corrections administration, drug enforcement, rehabilitation, family law and industrial security.

Social Psychology

HAPI (Health and Psychosocial Instruments) Ebscohost 1985-
Provides information on measurement instruments (i.e., questionnaires, coding schemes, rating scales, vignettes) in the health fields and psychosocial sciences. HAPI helps scholars identify instruments for research, grants, client/patient assessment, and program evaluation.

PsycINFO EBSCOhost  1872-
PsycINFO covers the professional and academic literature in psychology and related disciplines, including medicine, psychiatry, nursing, sociology, education, pharmacology, physiology, linguistics, and other areas. Communication topics such as interpersonal communication, family communication, male-female communication and nonverbal communication, can be searched in this database. The database includes information from empirical studies, case studies, surveys, bibliographies, literature reviews, discussion articles, conference reports and dissertations.
